Hi, I’m Janine

I started Small Steps Movement to offer a simple pathway for creating lasting change. A small step is available to anyone - no matter what their circumstances - as long as they choose to take it. Change is essentially about where we choose to focus our attention. Focus for long enough and the choice becomes a habit.

The latest neuroscience tells us that sustainable change is created by taking small consistent actions towards a clear purpose. By taking smaller, more achievable steps we can regulate our nervous system and integrate our new perceptions with greater ease.

When we contemplate changing our life, the gap between where we are and where we envision being can seem too big. The gap can feel like a huge chasm that appears impossible to traverse. In an attempt to control the overwhelm, our mind tells us to stop dreaming. The pull towards action starts to dissolve. The moment for change passed because we misunderstood what was required to meet it. How often does this happen to you?

What if keeping inspiration alive requires just one small step? One tiny, very doable step on the path that leads to what is calling you? What if your consistent commitment to taking one small step would lead to the next small step? And the next…

My Approach

I work with women who are experiencing change. My passion is helping women navigate and grow through the in-between places following loss or transition. I encourage and guide you to be the wayfinder and creator of your life. Using Small Steps to help you step into peace, creativity, joy and the purposeful life you have dreamed about.
